So I have an idea of a story that I might end up writing. I'm not sure if I'll ever go anywhere with it, but I just had to get it out of my head.
Ideally this bit that I've written would most likely be the end of the story.
Setting: Futuristic place called Alvaria which is ruled by a woman only known as the Matriarch. Citzens of Alvaria live a very strict and rigid lifestyle. Children leave their families at the age of 10 to attend school, where they are divided based on the results of a standardized test. Going through school they graduate at the age of 17 and are given a job based on the rank they achieved in school. Workers are expected to be diligent in their assigned jobs until their 30th birthday where they are then given the option of marrying and producing children or opting out. Citizens rely heavily on technology to do most tasks for them, leaving them lazy and unmotivated. The Governments control has never been questioned until now.
Note: Again this would most likely be the end of the story, but I figured that I would just put this out here and see if anybody liked it. I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistakes.
